Membership contributions and donations to AYF Alumni & Friends e.V. help us fund student support! With your help, we have begun offering $1.000 scholarships to current AYF students. Your generous support is greatly appreciated!
How to send membership contributions or donations
Transfer of funds directly to our Volksbank Freiburg account is preferred since there are no transaction fees involved and your contributions will support the alumni club’s mission without loss. However, this is most suitable from within Europe or by using other low-cost options such as TransferWise or a similar service.
For regular annual contributions, please consider setting up an automatic transfer via Dauerauftrag at the beginning of the year. This works well for anyone with access to an account in the European SEPA area and ensures uncomplicated remission of your annual membership contribution.

Membership contributions and donations are tax deductible in Germany. We’d be very happy to send you a receipt upon request.
T-Shirt Fundraiser
The Academic Year in Freiburg and the AYF Alumni & Friends e.V. (the German chapter of the AYF alumni club) are offering AYF logo T-Shirts as a fundraiser for the alumni club! All proceeds are treated as donations earmarked for scholarships and travel grants for current and future AYF students..
We are asking for a minimum donation of 25 € per T-Shirt.
AYF T-Shirts are available in the following sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL.
Please indicate your size selection(s) and, if necessary, mailing address in a separate email to us at info@ayf-alumni.org. Thank you for making sure that the total number of T-shirts ordered matches the contribution you are making below.
For program alumni who are sadly not able to visit us in Freiburg at this time and pick up their T-shirt(s) in person, it is certainly possible to make a donation to the AYF Alumni & Friends e.V. and request shipping of AYF T-Shirts for an additional 5 €.
